The History of the Tabernacle at Temple Square...

Little c and I spent Saturday photographing more flowers and a friend at the Temple Square Gardens. We then went over to the Museum of Church History & Art on 45 North West Temple. There is currently an exhibit about the history of the LDS Tabernacle that is really amazing. Don't miss the pieces of the dedicatory prayer that are in lettering on the walls. Very beautiful.

I served my mission on Temple Square. It is so nice to see the Tabernacle open again.

Janice, how wonderful! What a great place to be able to serve. There is always some project going on there, now they seem to be working on the big fountain between the Admin Bldg and the Church Office Bldg. Lovely there though. So many cute little birds and tons of bird watchers with cameras in the early hours of the morning, it is always just so lovely to be there. :)

Do you know how long the exhibit will be on display? I would love to view it in person!

Shauna, I asked that.. and they told me about 2 years, so you probably can see it. There is also a new exhibit going up in about 6 weeks all about the history of RS. :)
