Short Cuts...

I'm not a cook, or I should say that cooking is not my favorite chore. I'd rather do the laundry. So, I'm always looking for shortcuts. I love these diced onions from Honeyville Grains a place I need to visit again soon. Although you don't need to visit. They will ship your entire order to your home for $4.95 UPS. I have been really impressed with the quality of the items that I have purchased there. And, if you are in the market for food storage supplies. They are a terrific resource.
I love these onions in any recipe with browned hamburger like the taco salad above. And, it's a no tears endeavor.
Are you enjoying garden tomatoes? I hope so!

Wow, that salad looks delicious!!! Ok, I know you're busy but I'm dying for your take on the current political situation - esp. as it relates to the Pres. campaign!!! :)

Loving tomatoes right now, but we are a little sad. The plants Wm bought were labled early girl and such but in reality were romas. So if you have any great ideas for them I would love to hear them. We are just pretending they are regular tomatoes for now!

I used some of our diced tomatoes last night atop your fabulous chicken enchilada recipe! Friend MICHELLE, you can use Romas to top things such as that taco salads, enchiladas, etc. They actually hold up much better in salads than larger slicing tomatoes!

I also like www.preparedpantry.com out of Rigby. Sign up for their e-mails. I enjoy getting them and it's fun to see their warehouse and test kitchen in Rigby. I took Sherry there.
