Cary Grant's character and Constance Bennett, who plays his lovely but silly wife, become ghosts driving crazy in their crazy car. They are stuck haunting around because they haven't done a good deed.
This film has no substance whatever, but the costumes are beautiful and there are some witty lines. But, it's the total silliness I think that appeals to little c.

Who needs substance when you have the wonderful Cary Grant? I do love old movies. Jimmy Stewart was my favorite.
That is one of the fun things about summer...mindless movies.
Dancing...Long Gowns...Thin, very thin, long eyebrows...Those were the days...
How are you mss Tiff?? I have missed your smilin' little face! xxo
Topper Returns, while clearly containing even less content than the 1st, was one of my favorite movies when I was a kid. I watched it again last year, and I still love it.
Toppy! I only saw it twice, but loved it. I think I love anything with Cary Grant in it, although I've never given Gunga Din or the subway movie a chance :)
