I believe there are four books in this series. The Indian in the Cupboard, The Return of the Indian, Secret of the Indian and The Mystery of the Cupboard. They are wonderful. In fact, one thing that I love about these books is that the series gets better as it goes along. If you haven't read them, or you haven't read them in a long while... look into them. I think if you have a child who is 5 or older, they are perfect read aloud books too.

Yes these are most excellent. The movie was even good too. The little boy was very cute and it followed pretty close to the book.
good news! I just checked and there is a number 5: The key to the indian. Thought you and your reading partner would like to know, I don't think I've read it so I put it on hold too!

This was a great book, I remember i envyed the kid for having an indian friend to play with. The movie was alright too.
