When I was in school, my favorite professor could rhapsodize about his primrose patch. Now, I love this bright little flower. They are cold-hardy and are out in the nursery with the first of the spring plants. They are cheap and 4 inch pots are less than $2. Sadly, I kill them all the time, because I love to have them in a pot in the house and they don't like it in here, but they are the perfect happy little Valentine flower, so I have to have them inside.

Hurray for the primrose! Makes me want to go get some! What stores have you seen them at--I know you are scoping it out!
Ha! love that you try to grow them inside... maybe this year they will live! :) "where flowers bloom, so does hope" :) Here's for hoping!
