Lars & The Real Girl...

Lars is a sweet and tender hearted man who grew up with a heart-broken and silent widower. Lars is lonely. When he buys a life size doll and introduces her to family as his girlfriend, his whole community becomes concerned.

This is one of the most original, dearest stories of love that I've seen. This film about a church community that reaches out kindly and without judgement to save one of their own is a do not miss.

A "Greener" Home???

This article written by Scott Adams the creator of Dilbert is quite funny and clever and the "green" homes are quite interesting to see...
"...Your architect only knows how to design homes using materials that his local planning commission is likely to approve. But he wants the job, so he tries hard to talk you out of using twigs, pinecones and abandoned bird nests. He tells you that no builder will build it. He tells you it won't get approved by the city. He tells you it won't stand up to earthquakes, hurricanes or termites. But you persist. You're saving the Earth, damn it. No one said it would be easy.
So the architect—and later your building engineer, too—each asks you to sign a document saying you won't sue them when beavers eat a load-bearing wall and your entire family is crushed by forest debris. You make the mistake of mentioning this arrangement to your family, and they leave you. But you are not deterred because you're saving the planet, damn it. You'll get a new family. A greener one..."

The Lives of Others...

This is a film that you want to see with your Clearplay... And, even with Clearplay, this is still a film that is for adults only in my opinion.
That said, this film is an important film and should be seen. The film is about how East German writers and artists were monitored and threatened by the Stasi (secret police) amounting to a complete loss of free speech. It is chilling and not for the faint hearted, but in these times important.
