Valentines...

I finally finished putting the Christmas
away and getting the Valentines out. Hurray!

Spice Rack...

Boo, did you want something like this?
See it here.

These are lovely flowers...

See them here.

Sentimental Reasons...

This tablecloth is made out of pink wall paper. What do you think of that? I just couldn't figure out how those scallops looked so crisp, what an iron. No. Wallpaper. Better Homes and Gardens has a weddings issue that is just beautiful out now, and since I am not planning a wedding, I am enjoying looking at all the pink paper favors they have, which are really cute by the way, and thinking of making them as Valentines. You know I'll never do it, but I would if there were two of me.

Sparklies...

If I had pierced ears, I might ask for these Valentines...

Today in Northern Utah...

The wintry day, descending to its close,
Invites all wearied nature to repose,
And shades of night are falling dense and fast,
Like sable curtains closing o'er the past.
Pale through the gloom the newly fallen snow
Wraps in a shroud the silent earth below
As tho 'twere mercy's hand had spread the pall,
A symbol of forgiveness unto all.

Stuff...

My sugar girl, and I love her, came
from The Black Apple Shop.
She is reminding me to be sweet
and not eat as many sweets.
I just put the finishing touches on a
back-breaking bunch of "smile"
conversations hearts.
And, lastly, I just wanted to show you
one of my favorite paintings by
sister Alicia. Untitled.

PBS... China From the Inside...

This is television at it's best. Do not miss this. The segment on the situation of women in China is something that must be seen. Read about the program and get scheduling for your area here.

I love this movie...

It is silly and fun!

Cupcakes...

I love papers. I love to get paper presents. I got these notecards for Christmas and I love them. See them here. Thanks Mom!!!

Granny Chic Cute of the Week...

When I was in school, my favorite professor could rhapsodize about his primrose patch. Now, I love this bright little flower. They are cold-hardy and are out in the nursery with the first of the spring plants. They are cheap and 4 inch pots are less than $2. Sadly, I kill them all the time, because I love to have them in a pot in the house and they don't like it in here, but they are the perfect happy little Valentine flower, so I have to have them inside.

Fairy Family...

When I first started this blog, I posted about these little Faries, but then I just kept thinking about them and thinking about them, and then I just gave them to me for my birthday. And, here they are with some of my favorite pink things and the cute painting Michelle painted for me.

Wendy Addison...

Thank you Jenni for showing me this artist. I googled her name and came up with this site which has Wendy Addison creations and many other fun artsy things to see.
After looking through the site, which has many lovely things, this Wendy Addison garland was my favorite. I love it!
