The Queen Comes for a Visit, Boxes & Jeremiah...

I watched Barbara Walter's program last night about the Queen coming to the States. It was so fun to see how the White House puts on a state dinner... white tie even.
The white tie dinner was the only one of President Bush's presidency. He usually just invites people over to Crawford for barbeque.. which is something I love about he and Laura. Laura looked so pretty in a beautiful blue gown. She is so pretty.
I had been painting these bunnies most of the day. I am listing just one in the shop tomorrow, but if anyone needs multiples.. there are 4. It looks like 5, but my dad bought one.
This little bunny doesn't have his flowers yet, but they are coming soon. I was going to put a happy verse from the Psalms. I wanted to make these boxes very special Easter boxes. I love the Psalms but, I am really leaning toward parts of some of these scriptures from Jeremiah:

Jeremiah 31:33

But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Jeremiah 32:38
And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:

Jeremiah 31:1
At the same time, saith the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.

and this one is my favorite...

Jeremiah 24:7
And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.

Of course, I can only write about 10 words in these boxes, but I will put the reference too so it will show which one.

***These boxes are a much brighter blue and I'm not sure why they are showing up like this. I will work on it.

  1. Those were lovely verses from the Bible and the boxes are cute. I didn't watch the Barbara special, but I bet that was very interesting and educational.

  16. Oh Tiffany, I just love your boxes, especially your attention to detail.
We taped the Royal Family special although I haven’t had a chance to view it. My husband watched it and said it was very good. I too love Laura Bush; she to me is the epitome of a gracious lady.
